Tim Dugher is an experienced engineering leader having worked in the railway industry for 47 years, starting as an engineering apprentice and rising to the position of COO at a £450 million turnover business. His career has involved specifying, buying, delivering, maintaining and re-engineering high value engineering assets. He has embraced new and emerging technologies (such as Pendolino tilting trains), championed innovation, and nurtured ageing assets for efficiency and engineering integrity. Recently, he has focused on non-executive director activities, currently at Porterbrook Leasing. He is Trustee for engineering and technology for the Science Museum Group, supporting endeavours to promote STEM in society.
