Director of Technical and Safety Assurance, Head of the Engineering Fellowship, Rolls-Royce plc
Stuart Ellis is a highly experienced engineering director, having held increasingly senior, globally and divisionally significant roles in Rolls-Royce over a 39-year career. As Group Director Technical and Safety Assurance, he leads technical assurance of programmes across all sectors of the business, while also being product safety lead for the group. He is also Head of the Engineering Fellowship, leading the most senior technical specialists across the company in all disciplines, with additional accountability for specialist development training. Previously he was Chief Engineer of aero engine programmes in both civil and defence aerospace, including the Trent 900 for the Airbus A380.
