Professor John Rogers is a pioneer in the development of materials, device designs and manufacturing approaches for bioelectronic systems. He has transitioned these ideas into technologies for diverse, practical engineering platforms of proven benefit to human health and to biological research. He is an accomplished mentor, with more than 170 of his former group members now in faculty positions in engineering departments at top research universities around the world. He is an elected member of all four US National Academies – Engineering, Sciences, Medicine and Inventors.
