Richard Grisenthwaite has led the development of Arm’s architecture for the last 22 years, creating numerous innovations and developments that have resulted in Arm processor architecture being the most prolifically used computer architecture in the world. In this time, in excess of 250 billion processors have been shipped, covering all aspects of computing from simple sensors to, what was in 2022, the world’s fastest supercomputer (Fukagu). Richard led and contributed to all versions of the Arm architecture from Armv6, including creating all the different architecture profiles.
