Professor Cecilia Mascolo is Professor of Mobile Systems at the University of Cambridge, where she leads the Mobile Systems Research Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science and Technology. She is also Director of the Mobile and Wearable Systems and Augmented Intelligence Centre. Cecilia has contributed fundamental building blocks critical to the successful functioning and adoption of wearable and mobile devices, which have also influenced the scientific methods of other disciplines. Her work on mobile systems for audio diagnostics has led to substantial contributions in the context of respiratory health and on hearable computing for health and fitness.
